### Individual Reports: Get Each Participant's Responses as a PDF

Individual Reports automatically emails a PDF summary of each participant's survey responses to designated recipients the moment they submit. Ideal for exit surveys or other point in time surveys where managers need to review individual feedback.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Managed feature.** Individual Reports removes survey confidentiality, so it must be enabled by your TalentMap Project Manager. Reach out to your Project Manager to discuss whether it's a good fit for your survey.
{% endhint %}

**What's new:** When a participant completes a survey with Individual Reports enabled, a clean PDF containing all of their responses, open-ended comments, and a fillable notes section is automatically emailed to the recipients your TalentMap Project Manager has configured. Reports arrive within minutes of submission, giving managers time to prepare before exit interviews or follow-up conversations. You can also download any participant's report directly from the Participants page in Compass at any time.

**Why it matters:** Exit interviews are most valuable when managers walk in prepared. Without individual reports, HR teams often spend time manually compiling responses or forwarding raw data. Individual Reports eliminates that step entirely, putting a formatted, ready-to-use summary in the right hands automatically.

**How to use it:** Contact your TalentMap Project Manager to enable Individual Reports for your survey and configure the recipient email addresses. Once enabled, reports are delivered by email automatically. To download a report manually, go to **Participants**, click the action icon next to a completed participant, and select **Download Response Report**.

### AI Comment Insights Without Exposing Verbatim Feedback

A new permission lets you share AI-generated comment analysis with managers and leaders who don't need access to raw comment text.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Requires AI.** This feature is available to organizations with AI enabled. Contact your TalentMap Project Manager to get started.
{% endhint %}

**What's new:** A new **View AI Comment Summaries** permission gives users access to the Summary and Ask tabs on the Comments page without exposing verbatim comments, the word cloud, or comment settings. This means you can share AI-generated strengths, opportunities, and suggestions with a wider audience while keeping sensitive raw feedback restricted. When AI is enabled for your organization, this permission is automatically checked for all existing users. Administrators can uncheck it for any user who should not have access.

**Why it matters:** Comment data is some of the most sensitive information in a survey. Many organizations want managers to see high-level themes and actionable insights but not individual verbatim responses. Until now, it was all or nothing. This update lets you give the right people the right level of access, so more leaders can act on feedback without compromising participant trust.

**How to use it:** Navigate to **Admin** > **Users** and click any user's name. You'll see two comment permissions: **View Verbatim Comments** (for raw text, word cloud, and comment settings) and **View AI Comment Summaries** (for the Summary and Ask tabs). Check or uncheck each one based on what the user needs. Users with only AI Comment Summaries checked see AI-generated analysis but never individual comments.
