# Managers & Leaders

Got your team's survey results? This section helps you make sense of them, talk them through with your team, and pick a few things to work on together.

***

## Where to start

1. Read [Survey Results](/knowledge-base/managers-and-leaders/read-your-results/survey-results.md) first. Your first job is to understand how your team responded, not to interpret it.
2. Open your scores in the [Snapshot Report](/knowledge-base/managers-and-leaders/read-your-results/snapshot-report.md).
3. Compare groups side by side in the [Heatmap Report](/knowledge-base/managers-and-leaders/read-your-results/heatmap-report.md).
4. See what matters most to your team in [Key Driver Analysis](/knowledge-base/managers-and-leaders/read-your-results/key-driver-analysis.md).
5. Talk with your team about what you heard. [Communicating Results](/knowledge-base/managers-and-leaders/talk-with-your-team/communicating-results.md) shows you how.
6. Build your plan in [Action Planning in Compass](/knowledge-base/managers-and-leaders/take-action/action-planning-in-compass.md). Pick 1 to 3 things to focus on, not everything.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.talentmap.com/knowledge-base/managers-and-leaders/start-here/managers-and-leaders.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
