# Import Hidden Words or Phrases

Adding hidden words/phrases helps to ensure comment confidentiality and quality of comments for the reader.\
\
To import a list or make changes, please follow these steps:

1. When importing a list, ensure that you have save the file to **.csv** format.
2. When creating a list of hidden words/phrases, ensure that each word is placed in a **single row in Column A** of the file.\ <br>

3. When uploading the list, Compass will detect any duplicate words/phrases that are already included as hidden words.
4. To remove a hidden word/phrase (add it back comments), click the **X** next to the word/phrase.
5. You can search for and add additional hidden words/phrases using the search bar and plus icon in the comment settings window.
